An Actual Sleepover

This weekend we had Rocco sleep over.  In the past there is very little sleeping and lots of craziness when the dynamic duo try to have an overnighter.  Charlie (the genius that he is), had the brilliant idea to set up our air mattress in D’s room for both boys to snooze on.  They usually sleep in D’s bed together – like I said, very little sleeping occurs.  Well I am not sure if it was due to the more comfy sleeping arrangement or the fact that they both are on meds for ear infections, they actually slept ALL night.  I gave them each a sleeping bag and they got all cozy on the queen size air mattress (or is it a full size?? – not sure but whatever, it is bigger than D’s bed).  It actually took up all the floor space in his room so that prohibited them from getting out of bed and running around – which they usually do.

Before bed we let the boys watch cartoons and munch on popcorn.

Full tummies = a good nights sleep too.

In the morning they woke up refreshed an ready to create havoc.

Yeah, they made quite a mess.

Clearly my son does not need any more toys.

Now that we have figured out a way to get the boys to actually sleep, we definitely will be having Rocco stay over more often.

Back to the old routine!!!

Banana Protein Oats for breakfast after a super fabulous workout.  I happen to really dig my same old, same old routine. Time to go tackle the rest of my day.  I hope you had a great weekend.  HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Aw, those two are so cute all cuddled up in the chair together!!

Dear God, I dread when Jack starts accumulating all of those tiny toys. His stuff is already taking over our house and he doesn't even really play with toys yet.
